Approvers

This topic only applies to payroll administrators.

If the company is using the approval process, either the payroll administrator or the approver must approve the employees' time reports before they can be transferred to the payroll program. The approver only has the authority to approve time reports for employees they are responsible for, as opposed to a payroll administrator who has the right to approve and adjust time reports for all employees.

Under Approval - Approvers, a list of the company's approvers is displayed. In the Approver for column, you can both see how many employees each person is responsible for as well as which employees, by selecting the Show employees icon. If an employee has multiple approvers, it is sufficient for one of them to approve the employee's timesheets.

If the Approval option isn't visible in the menu, go to Settings, Company settings tab, and check Show Time Reports in the menu. Only you as the payroll administrator can do this.
