Employee
Terminal mode
Terminal mode is a variation of Employee where employees can clock in and out on a shared computer or iPad. It is also possible to use terminal mode to clock in and out from one's own computer without having to log into Employee.
Only the employees who need to register their time can log into terminal mode. Payroll administrators or approvers can easily find their way to the terminal mode through Employee. Select Settings - Company settings and click on the Show Terminal mode in the menu button to easily find it.
As an employee, you must log in and start Employee through the web or the app Spiris Employee before logging into the terminal mode.
Here's what to do as an employee:
- Log into the computer where you want to use the terminal mode and click on https://timeclock.vismaonline.com/terminal.
- Select the Log in button.
- Enter your spiris.se login credentials.
Everyone who needs to clock in and out on a shared computer should choose Log in the first time terminal mode is used on the shared computer. Then a time clock box with a name and buttons for clocking in and out will be added. Each time clock box is also assigned a number, which is useful when there are multiple employees with the same first and last name.
If you finish work earlier than the scheduled end time, you can register the type of absence when clocking out. This ensures that the correct number of hours for both worked time and absence are recorded.
Underneath the gear icon, you can choose to sort the time clock boxes in either name or number order. If you select Remove all boxes, all users will be logged out and will need to log in again before being able to clock in or out.
If an employee no longer is to use the terminal mode, you remove the clock box by clicking on the close button in the top right corner.
