Accounting templates

Open accounting template settings by selecting Settings followed by Accounting templates in the menu.

To facilitate registration of recurring transactions, you can use accounting templates when you register other withdrawals and deposits as well as your manual journal entries. The advantage of using an accounting template is that it is faster to register a transaction when the right ledger accounts are preselected and there is often even indication as to whether posting should be in debit or credit.

Some accounting templates are set out as standard. These cannot be changed or removed. You can instead create new accounting templates by copying and editing an existing template. Accounting templates that you yourself created can both be edited and deleted.
