Edit ledger account
You can make certain changes to the accounts found in the chart of accounts. Which changes you can make depend on which account you want to edit.
- Select Settings - Chart of accounts to open the menu.
- Choose the account you want to edit.
- Select Edit on the row that opened.
- Make your changes.
- Select Save.
Field explanations
Active
If the ledger account contains postings, you can not delete it. In that case, you have to deactivate the ledger account.
Allow cost centres
To be able to use cost centres in your accounting, the general ledger accounts must be set to allow posting to cost centres.
Allow projects
To be able to use projects in your accounting, the general ledger accounts must be set to allow posting to projects.
Do not allow manual registration
Check this box if you want to lock a ledger account for manual registration.
