Connection between Financial overview, Budget & Forecast and Bookkeeping & Invoicing
If you work with both Bookkeeping & Invoicing and Financial overview, Budget & Forecast, the solutions will be connected automatically. This means that you can:
- start Bookkeeping & Invoicing from Financial overview, Budget & Forecast.

accounting data and data about unpaid invoices to will automatically be uploaded to Financial overview, Budget & Forecast during log in or whenever the Refresh button is pushed.

if you are an accounting office with collaborations in Bookkeeping & Invoicing and Financial overview, Budget & Forecast, the setting Accounting locked as of in Bookkeeping & Invoicing will be used to show the months that are locked or still ongoing.
- open a document, from the Income statement or Balance sheet, linked to a supplier invoice or a supporting journal entry in Bookkeeping & Invoicing.

when your company uses Bookkeeping & Invoicing and Financial overview, Budget & Forecast, your ongoing accounting data is automatically retrieved to Financial overview, Budget & Forecast.
Transfer accounting data from Bookkeeping & Invoicing
As a user working in Bookkeeping, Bookkeeping & Invoicing or Bookkeeping & Invoicing + without a collaboration with an accounting office, the accounting data from Bookkeeping & Invoicing will be updated when you or any other user of Financial overview, Budget & Forecast logs in. The data that will be presented will always be Ongoing accounting, i e both locked and ongoing months.
The data transfer only happens during log in, so if you want to get the latest data from Bookkeeping & Invoicing while working in Financial overview, Budget & Forecast, you need to press the Refresh button in the top menu.
The accounting data is transferred when any user logs in to the solution, no matter if they have access to Bookkeeping & Invoicing or not.
When you start using Financial overview, Budget & Forecast, all accounting information from Bookkeeping & Invoicing will be imported until the current date. Details about unpaid supplier and customer invoices, as well as journal entry attachments are also transferred.
As an accounting office it is possible to export data if your customer is using Spiris Bookkeeping & Invoicing.
The accounting data is only transferred when you are logged in. If you want to have the latest data from Bookkeeping & Invoicingwhile working in the function, click on the Update button in the main menu.
