How do I reset an employee's email address?

If the employee is registered with a different email address in another company on Spiris, it can't be changed by you or the employee. You'll need to remove access to the employee's solutions in the employee list and restore the email address.

You should only reset the email address if it cannot be changed by you or the employee.

Here's how to reset the email address:

  1. Select Payroll - Employees.
  2. Select the employee from the list and choose the tab Employment.
  3. Uncheck The employee registers times/deviations in and/or The employee registers expenses in .
  4. Select the Pay tab and choose as PDF under Send payslips.
  5. Select Save.
  6. Select the Basic information tab.
  7. Click Reset email.
  8. Select Save.

The connection between the employee's details for Spiris solitions and Payroll will be removed when you reset the email address. When you then register a new email address for the employee and reactivate the services in the employee list, a new user will be created on spiris.se and linked to the employee's details in Payroll.

  1. Enter a new email address on the Basic information tab.
  2. Please restore access to the solutions you unchecked in points 3 and 4.
  3. Select Save.
