Change an employee's pay
Do the following to change an employee's pay:
- Select Payroll - Employees
- Select the employee from the list and choose the tab Pay.
- Click the pencil icon next to the Full-time salary/Hourly wages field.
For an employee who works full time and has a fixed monthly salary, you enter the full-time salary amount. If the employee works part time you should enter the salary that the employee would have if working full time.
- Click New pay.
- Select a date for the change under As of date.
- Enter employment rate and full-time pay.
The gross salary is calculated automatically but it is possible to change the amount.
- Select Save.
- Enter the hourly wages in the Hourly wages field.
- Select Save.
To remove an incorrect change, click the bin icon on the row.
