Deactivate cost centres and cost units

1. Select Accounting - Cost centres.
2. Select the cost centre you want to deactivate and click on the gear icon.
3. Uncheck the Active box.
4. Select Save.

The cost centre has now been deactivated.

1. Select Accounting - Cost centres.
2. Select the cost unit you want to deactivate.
3. Choose Edit.
4. Uncheck the Active box.
5. Select Save.

1. Select Settings - Payroll settings, and the Accounting tab.
2. Uncheck the Use cost centres box.

The cost centres are now deactivated and hidden, which means that the Cost centres menu option no longer is shown under Accounting. All information you entered under cost centres and cost units is saved in case you want to reactivate the cost centres feature.
