The Spiris Scanner app

Spiris Scanner is an app that you can use to take photos of, save and send receipts and invoices to Bookkeeping & Invoicing digitally. You can photograph both single and multi-page source documents. By using the app, you reduce the risk of forgetting to register your receipts. The accounting department or accounting office quickly receives the required source document images and can post these to the ledger directly.

By linking source document images to your journal entries and purchase invoices, you avoid having to search through invoices and receipts in binders or your wallet if you want to check something you have posted. When new images are available to link, you will receive a message in the app.

Start using the app

1. Create an account and log into spiris.se.
2. Download the app Spiris Scanner from App Store or Google Play.
3. Log into the app with the same credentials as you uses to log into spiris.se.

4. In order for the app to send images to spiris.se, go to Manage users in the left menu and then select the user.

Printed invoice without QR code	Take a photo of the invoice with Spiris Scanner. Enter the invoice in Bookkeeping & Invoicing and link the image to the invoice. Images from the app are found under Purchasing - Source document images.
Printed invoice with QR code	Use Spiris Scanner to read the QR code and then to take a photo of the invoice. The app will send the image and data from the QR code to Bookkeeping & Invoicing. You find the images and data from the QR code under Purchasing - Source document images. Select your image to open New purchase invoice where the data from the QR code is found.
Invoice as PDF	Send the invoice to Spiris Scanner via email. The email address you should send your invoice to is found on the settings page under Inbound email address. If you want the invoice to be sent directly to Bookkeeping & Invoicing, you select Forward to accounting software in the app.
