Deactivate fixed asset category

If there is a history for a fixed asset category, it can not be deleted. You can deactivate it instead.

You can't deactivate or delete any of the standard sales category templates included.

Select Settings - Fixed assets ledger settings.
Click on the fixed asset category you want to deactivate.
Select Edit.
Uncheck the Active box. If there is no history on the accounts you can instead select Delete.
Select Save.
