Delete fixed asset category

You can only delete a fixed asset category for which there is no history. If the fixed asset category has a history, it is only possible to deactivate the category.

You can't delete any of the standard fixed asset coding templates included.

1. Select Settings - Fixed assets ledger settings.
2. Click on the fixed asset category you want to delete.
3. Choose Edit.
4. Click Delete.
