What does intermittent working hours mean?

Intermittent working hours mean that an employee works fewer or more days per week than the company’s full-time standard working schedule. The number of hours actually worked per week or the employment rate doesn’t matter.

Choose how holiday should be calculated for employees with intermittent working hours.

Gross holiday

Holiday is registered even on non-working days.

Net holiday

Holiday is only registered on days the employee would have worked. Read more in the topic Net holiday.

You choose how holiday should be calculated in the field Select calculation method for intermittent employees under Settings – Payroll settings, on the Holiday tab.
