Support for historical fixed asset depreciation added!
We have now made it possible to register historical depreciation when creating fixed assets in the program. The historical depreciation value is the past depreciation amount that was already registered on the fixed asset before the first fiscal year in Visma eAccounting, for example in a previous bookkeeping program.
To ensure a comprehensive overview, the historical depreciation value will automatically be added to the accumulated depreciation in the report Fixed asset list and in the fixed asset register!

Hide corrections for a better overview
Correcting entries can sometimes make it difficult to keep a clear overview of your accounting flows. With the new Hide Corrections option, you can now easily filter out these entries, to make sure that only the relevant accounting entries will be displayed.
You'll find this handy option in the Ledger under Accounting - Account analysis and in the Ledger report.

Show bank information on invoice printouts
You can now choose whether to display your bank account information, such as IBAN and account holder details, on your invoice printouts. A new setting now makes it possible to hide the bank information when desired - for instance, when using PayPal, a factoring company, or a pre-uploaded invoice background with your bank details. Good news! From now on, you can make bookkeeping easier than ever. With the eAccounting Payment Card, which comes with a business IBAN account, your payments are processed in real time in your accounting. Post directly from the list view in Cash and bank
You can now make simpler postings directly from the list view in Cash and bank, without having to open the matching dialogue. An improvement that saves both time and clicks!
From the list view, you'll also be able to receive image suggestions and automatic account suggestions based on how you've previously posted similar transactions. In addition, we've added new icons to show that images can now be managed directly from the list view and not just in the matching dialogue.

Convert a posted purchase invoice to credit note in just one click!
Nobody is faultless, and so it can happen that you post a credit purchase invoice to the ledger, but forgot to enable the Credit note setting. Instead of voiding the faulty invoice and creating it in the intended way from scratch, we have now made it very easy to correct this. Just open the purchase invoice, where you can now toggle the credit note setting as desired, and save the invoice to process the update.
Of course it also works the other way around for changing a posted credit purchase invoice to a normal purchase invoice!

Automatic reconciliation of batch payments
Do you use payment files for your purchase invoices in Visma eAccounting Pro, or do you send them directly to the bank? In case the payments for these invoices are withdrawn as totalized amounts per batch from your bank account, it was always necessary to match these lump sum transactions against all associated unpaid purchase invoices manually.
That is now a thing of the past! Based on the reference of the bank transaction, the program now checks the unpaid invoices that are included in payment batches. If a match can be made, the program automatically matches the batch payment against all associated unpaid purchase invoices, which will immediately be marked as paid.
You do not need to set anything up for this, so you can immediately experience how Visma eAccounting Pro takes the work off your hands!

Counterparty name now visible on the Unreconciled bank transactions report
When you work with direct bank integration in Visma eAccounting Pro, you can easily see which counterparty was involved with a bank transaction directly in the Cash and Bank overview.
In order to make it just as easy for users working with the Unreconciled bank transactions report, we’ve now updated this report to also display the counterparty name.
You can print this updated list via the Actions button in Cash and Bank - All unreconciled bank transactions.

Now it’s super easy to see where your invoices and other documents in Visma eAccounting Pro come from!
We’ve added a new column under Soruce doument images that shows the source, like e-invoice, Visma Scanner, or if it was uploaded manually. This saves you time and makes it easier for you, for example when reconciling transaction fees charged to the company.
This applies to new source documents added after the update. Old source documents aren’t affected.
We’ve also made it possible for you to filter by different sources under Purchasing - Purchase invoices. You’ll find the filter under the tabs Unpaid purchase invoices and All purchase invoices.

When you click on the question mark at the top, a new menu will drop down.
Selecting Online help opens the programme help in a new tab in your browser. The content is exactly the same as before, but now it will be easier to navigate with the table of contents on the left.

Improved discount possibilities
Today when you create a sales invoice, order or a quote, you can choose to give your customer a reduced price by adding a discount as a percentage. As an improvement, we’ve now made it possible for you to also set the discount as a fixed amount. The percentage will still be the default option, but if you click the blue box inside the Discount field you can easily switch and add a discount in the currency your customer is invoiced in. The discount you add on the article row will be the total discount for that article, regardless of quantity. The discount you add on specific customers will remain the same.

Now you can delete multiple bank transactions at once
If you have transactions that don't come from a bank integration, you can now delete several of them at the same time. You can easily do this under Cash and bank by selecting Delete multiple from the tab Bank transactions this period, or via Actions - Delete multiple from the tab All unreconciled bank transactions. In the next step, choose whether you want to delete all or only some of the transactions. Click Delete. Done!

Good news for everyone who processes invoice payments via direct bank integration or CAMT.053 import! We have significantly improved the matching of incoming and outgoing invoice payments. Next level flexibility with new permissions!
Now comes a much requested update - the flexibility to configure permissions for each menu item per user!
The previous permission page has been replaced with a more intuitive interface, optimised to give you control and flexibility over user permissions. Clicking on a specific user opens a dedicated permission page, allowing full-access to tailor permissions for each menu item for that specific user.
Under Permissions, you can now choose from four options:

Additionally, the Approvals feature now offers two streamlined options:

Only users with full access to Visma eAccounting will have visibility into Permissions under Settings, and only they can modify permissions. Just like before, users can’t adjust permissions for themselves.
Please note that some of the user permissions within your company might have changed with this update.

Only sales is replaced with Access without payments for Sales, which also includes read-only for More solutions, as well as no access to other parts.

Limited is replaced with Access without payments for Sales and Purchasing, which also includes no access to Cash and bank, as well as read-only for other parts.

Approval at its best!
We're levelling up our approval feature for purchase invoices. On the supplier you can now choose one or more approvers and decide in which order they should approve your purchase invoices. You can choose between:

It will also be possible to approve multiple invoices in one go.
We've added a new setting in Settings - Company settings - Accounting settings, where you can enable email notifications to be sent out whenever there is a purchase invoice to approve. You can choose between three different intervals:

Once a week
So why not activate this feature and improve your approval flow already today!

Good news for Webshop users
We have fixed it so that the order number from the webshop now appears in the description on the journal entry when the order is booked. This makes it much easier to match from Cash and bank transactions - you can easily search for the matching journal entry using the order number.
